This year, 15 initiatives for identifying grounds for launching criminal proceedings were submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office and the National Police. All the initiatives were launched on suspicion of evading tax paying and fake bankruptcies, the Tax Administration, PU, told Pobjeda daily.
Tax Administration said: “We should have in mind that the Tax Administration has been involved in a comprehensive financial investigation run by the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, and tax controls over 230 individuals have been carried out. Of this number, 60 first-instance proceedings have been completed.”
Through the inspection controls and database in their possession, PU was able to prepare relevant information for launching investigating techniques in the relevant bodies.
