Tax inspectors checked on business operations of CEDIS yesterday having in mind that the company failed to submit their financial statements and report last-year taxes timely, the CdM portal has learned.
The portal contacted the Revenues and Customs Administration to see what exactly happened and they explained that the Administration ordered inspection control after the deadline for submitting financial statements expired.
They also recalled the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration (Article 16 and Article 74) adding that the Revenues and Customs Administration cannot give any further information on this matter until the procedure is finished.
According to the information of CdM, inspectors are investigating into reasons for the CEDIS failure to abide by the law, by checking on documentation of this state-owned company.
