Defence of Petar Knezevic
It’s unusual that a former DPS activist like Petar Knezevic gets massive support from the DPS’ enemies. A reckless police officer who was recorded while speaking what he was thinking about the people who protested in Cetinje just said the same things Abazovic, Krivokapic and many other leaders of the then ruling majority said. Krivokapic waited and praised police officers who “chased away bastards”, and Abazovic did the same.
Today, the ruling SNP defends the police officer who obviously coordinates activities with crime gangs loyal to the Serbian church and the state, which is another evidence that the SNP hasn’t changed their initial purpose – to be a field office of Belgrade authorities.
It’s worrying that Abazovic stays silent, as he himself, along with Brdjanin, created this state of play in police run by two Knezevics and Rakonjac, and they all were often welcome in Belgrade and Banja Luka, and after the inauguration of the Serbian Metropolitan in Cetinje, the Serbian media proclaimed them as heroes. ‘Knezevic, a hero from Kosar, ‘Rakonjac, a mastermind of a special operation’, were interviewed by the Serbian pro-government media and went to celebrate the start of the siege of Sarajevo with director Brdjanin.
The SNP, Goran Danilovic and many others, instead of demanding Knezevic to take responsibility, are now painting targets on the back of the activists, Svetlana Pajovic and Sasa Zekovic, who immediately forwarded the recordings to institutions.
The Church, which gathered extremists and persons of interest to security in the monastery on that day, and which brings children using them to provoke incidents, is not just a church for a long time. Things that we, people from Montenegro, understand people from abroad obviously don’t.
That’s why we’ve come to the situation that cultural monuments in Niksic are being renovated by the Government and the Church of Serbia with EU funds. The question is – why does the EU fund Serbia-backed projects in Montenegro?
Maddocks for CdM
Montenegro has got the 43rd government. Prime Minister is the Leader of the Civic Movement URA, Dritan Abazovic. In an interview for Cdm, the UK Ambassador to Montenegro, Karen Maddocks, says she believes the new government represents a positive chance for Montenegro to make further progress.
Analysis for Bosnia
