There are all kinds of fascists on Facebook, and we have known that for a long time. What is happening, however, since the political changes in 2020, is that these Facebook fascists have got high positions in the country with their online activism. One of the loudest and most bizarre fascist trolls thus became the director of the Hydro Power Plant (HPP) Piva, and in his latest posts he insulted MPs Genci Nimanbegu and Draginja Stankovic Vuksanovic on a national basis. Nimanbegu asked for a quick reaction from the authorities and Radonjic’s superior minister, while the EPCG director Nikola Rovcanin distanced himself from this.
During the day yesterday, we learned that Radonjic was prosecuted by the Prosecutor’s Office.
Djukanovic’s reactions to the change of government and the Albanian affair
Djukanovic announced that the DPS will support any initiative for the removal of the current government, but that it is important that when such an initiative is launched, it will be successful. A session of the DPS Presidency was held last night, at which regular activities were discussed, as well as the Initiative for the removal of the government. If Abazovic was serious yesterday – he said that if they (the government) don’t work, they should “split up”, then we would have something to look forward to. But Abazovic is just being Abazovic, so he also said the day before yesterday that he believed in the agreement with the DF.
As for the information that the Special State Prosecutor’s Office has formed a case regarding the allegations of the Albanian oil tycoon Rezart Taci, who mentioned the Montenegrin president in the context of international money laundering and suspicious payments, President Djukanovic said that this was another in a series of fabricated scandals.
Europe Now and the IMF
Although we could hear last night in the RTCG Dnevnik (News) that the IMF supported Spajic’s plan, the minister himself denied it on Twitter, saying that despite the IMF’s opinion, which he appreciates, he has an obligation towards the citizens of Montenegro. Nebojsa Medojevic, who is obsessed with Spajic, said that the IMF ordered the suspension of the project. Marko Milacic, who, as things stand, will most likely drown Real Montenegro in the Christian Democrats, visited Spajic to get acquainted with the projects he needs to support in Parliament.
Attacks and pressures on journalists continue
Antena M journalist Nikoleta Rakocevic was verbally assaulted while doing her job at the premises of the Ministry of Interior (MUP) in Mojkovac. Upon entering the MUP building, where the opposition is blocking the registration of residence, Rakocevic heard a discussion between the URA leader Ivan Asanin and an unknown man. After she tried to record the quarrel on the phone, the unknown man approached her, asking her to hand him the phone.
The Media Institute of Montenegro (IMCG) strongly condemns the interrogation of Pobjeda journalist Nenad Zecevic, for allegedly leaking secret information on the report of ANB director Dejan Vuksic, and sees this as pressure on media freedom and an attempt to intimidate journalists by power centers, the IMCG said.
Bato of Budva, the stonecutter
If anyone eliminates Bato Carevic (in the political sense), it will be MANS. It called on the Ministry of Capital Investments, headed by Minister Mladen Bojanic, to withdraw from the public debate the proposed concession act for quarrying from the location Platac at Krimovica, until the real situation in the field and the facts related to the previous use of that quarry by the Carinvest company are determined.
That’s it for today. Enjoy the rest of the day.
