Ten to Eight – No Minority Government?

Good morning! The stay of the Russian extremist in Montenegro could not bring anything good – first there were reports of a bomb, then threats to a Montenegrin activist; Vulin is already showing us how Abazovic’s request to Vucic to sell us flour will come out; Jokovic will still not have SDP and SD in government; MANS files criminal charges against Minister Bojanic  for giving the quarry to Carevic for another 30 years.

Russian extremist’s threats to Sasa Zekovic

After Pobjeda announced yesterday that ANB sources told it that the false report about the bomb, due to which TQ Plaza in Budva was evacuated, came from the address of Vladislav Pozdnyakov, the public wondered again whether the police were doing anything about this case, and why the security sector is silent about everything. He was bragging about his stay in Montenegro through his Telegram and Instagram channels. He made video clips of himself on a terrace of the apartment where he was staying, he reported from the protest in support of Russia. On behalf of the 21. Maj Civic Initiative, Aleksandar Sasa Zekovic filed a complaint against him on 15 March, and received information from the police that Pozdnyakov left Montenegro on 4 February. This is illogical because Pozdnyakov published pictures and video clips from Montenegrin cities, from a hair salon, a shop and from his walks in Podgorica for another month and a half after that.

Yesterday, Pozdnyakov published several posts of threats and a series of insults against Zekovic’s sexual orientation and appearance, threatening him with a strong answer and saying that he sentenced himself. In those posts, he also accused him of being the one who, with the help of the Ukrainians, reported the fake bomb, falsely posing as Pozdnyakov.

Due to the threats, Zekovic was given police protection late last night, and he was accompanied by fellow activists who protested in front of the Central Bank of Podgorica in support of activism. Numerous opposition organizations and political parties publicly gave their support. So far, no one from the civil sector and representatives of the authorities and institutions have spoken out.

What we have come to – that a man in his country cannot work peacefully because of extremists who are banned from working even in Russia, but are allowed to stay in Montenegro.

We’ll pay for Dritan’s flour

Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin commented on the economic situation between Serbia and Montenegro, stating that “everyone needs Serbian flour, but they don’t need Serbs”. “When Serbia was on its knees, no one bothered. When it was miserable, we were an oasis of democracy. Now that you have a strong Serbia, between two bites of Serbian bread, they are spitting at us from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro”, Vulin told Sputnik.

All this started with a public request from Dritan Abazovic to Aleksandar Vucic to sell us flour. Now, Serbia is humiliating us for our money because of that. Paradoxically, Krivokapic’s minister Stijovic, a Serbian nationalist, is going and negotiating with Bulgaria, which has provided food from its reserves that are in short supply in Montenegro, in order to avoid blackmail from Serbia.

No minority government?

The technical government is the solution, says Andrej Nikolaidis, wisely noting that there will be no minority government. It simply proved that Abazovic was not up to the task. Technical government, Nikolaidis writes in his text, is the solution. A government that will involve as many entities as possible and have the widest possible support in Parliament. Its only task should be to organize fair elections.

As Jokovic is still firmly against the participation of SDP and SD in the government, it seems that this will be the only way out of the situation. Unless URA returns to the DF wing.

While bread has not yet been baked in Ulcinj and Berane, URA demands that local negotiations do not endanger state ones. SDP and SD distance themselves from URA, and yet they sign an objection with it in order to repeat the voting in the elections in Ulcinj, in order to probably try to get another mandate and form a government with the Democrats. After the DF, the Democrats are not willing to negotiate with the SNP in Berane, they say it is the same as negotiating with the DPS.

Bojanic gives Carevic 30-year quarry concession

Yesterday, MANS announced that it was filing criminal charges against Minister Mladen Bojanic, with whom they have been fighting for a year over the non-transparency of the work of his ministry. This time, the reason is Bato Carevic and the quarry, which was given to him with a new 30-year concession. MANS claims that the process of awarding the concession is illegal, and Minister Bojanic is threatening a counter-claim for false registration.

That’s it for today. We wish you a pleasant rest of the day.

Kind regards,
