Thus, as recently announced by Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, the Sutorina issue, which was considered controversial by a part of B&H public, would be closed.
“Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina closed the issue of Sutorina and it is just a matter of time when the demarcation agreement between the two states would be signed,” Mr Vujanovic said.
Vujanovic had an informal meeting with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanic, during which he said that there were no more open issues in the cooperation between Montenegro and B&H.
“Now it is just a matter of time when we will sign the agreement, and I think that we have a cooperation of opened options in all areas, which we should jointly take the advantage of,” Mr Vujanovic told reporters after the meeting.
The B&H Presidency, the members of which are Bakir Izetbegovic, Mladen Ivanic and Dragan Covic, decided to accept the initiative to conduct bilateral negotiations with Montenegro on the collocation of diplomatic and consular missions.
