The Government is cancelling four concessions on water

The Government is cancelling four concession agreements on the exploitation of wells for bottling water and their sale. This decision was rendered at yesterday’s session presided by the Prime Minister, Duško Marković.

The following concession agreements will be cancelled: concession on bottling the water from Alipašini izvori in Plav and from Reževića rijeka, near Budva, agreements on the bottling needs, packaging and supply of water for commercial purposes from the sources Jasen and Vrelo in the municipality of Mojkovac.

“The concessionaire doesn’t have right to claim for compensation or costs for the work and invested funds. The concessionaire is obliged to provide the report on the condition of the terrain and water regime that existed before the construction of the facilities or execution of works in the function of the concession, provided that water well, water or third parties are not  damaged”, reads the decision.
