Civil engineer, mr Olivera Doklestić, announced the arrival of the professor Amir Pašić in Herceg Novi next week. Pašić was the main architect in charge for the reconstruction of the Stari most ( literally „Old bridge“) in Mostar and he’s coming to visit Herceg Novi in order to see Vladika Bridge ( Bishop’s bridge) in Topla which crashed at the end of March.
Part of the arch of the bridge fell down at the end of March and Doklestić then said that it was necessary to lift the vault of the bridge and start its reconstruction.
„Professor Pašić promised to come next week, visit the location and give some instructions as what to do next. It would be terrible if the rest of the construction crashes. The first task is to make wooden planking, to protect the bridge”, explains Doklestić.
