Earnings of the employees in the public sector won’t be reduced, while pensions will be in the process of harmonization, reports the Ministry of Finance.
“The Ministry of Finance didn’t plan the amendments to the Law on Public Sector Salary System in the domain of reduction of coefficients, i.e. reduction in salaries”, reports the Ministry.
They also announced that there won’t be any reductions of pensions.
“We will keep harmonizing pensions, according to the defined formula. The Law on Budget defines funds for regular payment of pensions and it will be so in the future”, reports the Ministry.
It was announced in July that by the end of 2018, the Ministry of Administration would reduce number of employees in public administration at the local level. They also planned 3% reduction at the central level.
