The Government of Montenegro has issued urban and technical conditions for the construction of the exclusive five-star hotel in Reževići, near Budva.
“Savana Commercial Retail, Stratex and Branica Holiday Resort Companies have expressed their interest in the beginning the construction of the tourism complex encompassing a hotel with at least 150 beds among other amenities,” the Government has stated.
The existing purpose of the areas has been defined by their purpose. The Government has also listed some restrictions.
“In the belt between 100 and 1000 m of the coastal line, construction activities in the areas outside the settlement shall be forbidden, while spatial planning is based on the preservation of natural, cultural, historical and traditional values”, the document has stated.
The plan outlines types of tourism zones, defined in accordance with the tourism indicators on the basis of the protection regime and use of space.
Inherent seismic risk in this area is clearly stated in urban and technical conditions, as well as appropriate measures.
“General recommendations can me defined by the following: avoiding zones of high seismicity, unstable terrains and potential landslides, projection of new amenities etc,” the document concludes.
