In the period from 1 October to 20 December, private-owned pharmacies issued about 533,000 boxes of medicines.
On 1 October, the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro signed a contract with 167 private-owned pharmacies, thus allowing them to issue prescription drugs.
The fund director said that there were no objections to the new information system.
