Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko welcomed Montenegro’s membership in NATO.
He met with Montenegrin defence minister Predrag Boskovic on Wednesday night. Boskovic is staying in Kiev on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and 100 years since the formation of the Ukrainian National Army.
Poroshenko thanked Boskovic and defence ministers of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for their strong support for preserving the sovereignty of that country.
Today, Boskovic will attend a two hour military parade. The ceremony will be held in the main square Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kiev.
