As part of a compulsory and unannounced control over the units of the Army of Montenegro, responsible military bodies have carried out certain tests indicating to the psychoactive substance use with some younger members, the Ministry of Defence told Dan daily.
The control was carried out on Monday morning, leading to the assumption that young soldiers used drugs during the weekend.
According to sources of Dan daily, some soldiers were tested positive for alcohol – 7 of them working in the Bar military unit, while six from Golubovci and Danilovgrad failed drug tests. Allegedly, there were soldiers in Pljevlja also tested positive for psychoactive drugs.
Appropriate internal actions will be taken against the soldiers in line with the army regulations.
