Urban planning inspectors in Montenegro will soon perform their duties in standardised, clearly defined uniforms, according to a new government regulation on the appearance and insignia of their attire. The regulation outlines in detail the components of both summer and winter uniforms for male and female inspectors, including mandatory identification badges.
The uniforms will feature dark and light blue clothing paired with black shoes. Summer outfits include short-sleeved shirts, lightweight trousers or skirts, and vests, while winter attire involves insulated pants or skirts, waterproof jackets, and vests. Ties are mandatory for both genders.
Insignia include the Montenegrin coat of arms on the left shoulder and an armband labelled Urban Planning Inspection on the right. Inspectors’ names, surnames, and titles will be embroidered on a white nameplate worn on the left chest.
The regulation takes effect eight days after publication in the Official Gazette, and inspectors will be required to comply with all provisions to maintain the professional identity and dignity of the service.
