Vaso Ulić, charged with organizing a criminal group which dealt with the international drug smuggling, might be released from prison soon, if the High Court accepts 300.000 EUR of the warrant he offered.
Special Prosecutor’s Office raised an indictment against Ulić in February this year and the case was assigned to judge Biljana Uskoković but the trial has been postponed several times.
Ulić was given a nickname “Montenegrin Eskobar” by the foreign media. He denied being involved in what he was charged with.
However, media all around the world report that Ulić has been the target of police services for more than 20 years because of smuggling high quantities of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and cannabis.
