President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic met today with Bulgarian Parliament Speaker Cveta Karajanceva. The officials said at the meeting that the Bulgarian Parliament’s expert assistance to Montenegro was respected.
Vujanovic said that the Montenegrin Parliament had been extremely efficient and productive in the past period, since a large number of laws were adopted. That was a part of the obligations towards the EU accession process.
According to Karajanceva, the individual assessment of each country’s progress towards the EU is the only correct approach to the integration of the Western Balkan countries into the EU.
“I expect that the meeting of the leaders of the Western Balkans and the EU in Sofia on 17 May will be another step towards joining the countries of the region to the European Union,” she added.
