Shareholders of Montenegro Airlines (MA) at the extraordinary session decided to grant a professional status to the president of the board of directors. Nikola Vukićević, Director General of the Budget Department within the Ministry of Finance, has been head of this company since February 2017.
“Professionalization of this position is becoming necessity at this moment. The company needs commitment in full capacity and an every-day work so that the MA may continue with the positive trends and achievements,“ the session concluded with statements that the president of the board needs to be fully engaged in the work of the company.
In accordance with this decision, the consolidated version of the company’s Statute has been adopted, stipulating that the president of the board of directors may get three average MA salaries. Pobjeda learns that the average MA salary exceeds €800, i.e. Vukićević will earn more than €2,000 a month.
