Vukovic: I expect convincing victory in Podgorica

Ivan Vuković

I expect a convincing victory in the local elections in Podgorica, the mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vukovic, has said during Znam Da Znas (I Know You Know) show on Gradska RTV.

Vukovic has added that there are many things that divide us.

“The thing that doesn’t divide us is the impression of the quality of work of the city administration. I am in contact with a huge number of people every day, and I don’t remember hearing that someone said that work is bad in Podgorica”, Vukovic has stated. He has pointed out that this is an exceptional satisfaction.

He has pointed to a survey, according to which 78% of Podgorica residents are satisfied with life in this city.

When asked whether DPS has a mechanism to prevent the signing of the Fundamental Agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), Vukovic explains that it is clear to everyone in Montenegro, including the international community, that what was the subject of PM Abazovic’s attention at this moment has no points of contact with the signed Agreement, nor with the state interests of Montenegro.

Vukovic points out that joining the EU permanently protects us from the risks that are immanent in this region, adding that we should not have allowed ourselves any political experiments.

The mayor says that DPS reacted in the only way it could react and denied support to PM Dritan Abazovic.
