US Embassy in Podgorica issued a warning to its citizens about possible terrorist attacks in Montenegro during the holidays, but this is just a “standard warning that diplomatic representatives of US send to its citizens all around the world”.

The warning published by agency “Srna”, says that during the holidays, security measures in Montenegro should be reinforced, due to the threats of international terrorist groups and individuals across Europe who are inspired by extreme ideology.
American citizens are advised to be very careful while visiting festivals or some other holiday events, religious places and places of mass gatherings.
They are also warned to “reconsider their personal security plans, be aware of their surroundings and to follow local media in order to stay tuned”.
As an unofficial interlocutor of “Pobjeda” said, this warning doesn’t refer to our country in particular but to the countries all over the world since the traffic of tourists is much higher during holiday season.
