The Alternative Institute (IA) has announced today that there are still less than three weeks left for the current Government of Montenegro to submit the draft budget for 2022 to Parliament.
However, the IA emphasizes that important acts and reports have not been published yet, which means that the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare has already violated legal obligations and parliamentary conclusions.
“If we want to avoid the chaos of temporary financing, the first condition is to meet the deadline for the budget proposal and give MPs enough time to discuss the budget and accompanying acts that will enable the implementation of major reforms that have been announced”, the IA has tweeted.
