We hereby wish to inform the Montenegrin public that, due a great interest of citizens from all parts of Montenegro in attending another mass protest of the ‘WE ARE NUMEROUS’ Movement in defence of a civic, modern and European Montenegro, the second protest will be held on Thursday (17 November) at 8 pm in front of the building of the Parliament of Montenegro, representatives of the movement announced.
“By attending the first protest, citizens sent a message that they won’t allow the constitutional order of the country to be undermined and the election process of judges of the Constitutional Court to be blocked, while over 10.000 signatures of the civic petition demonstrate their desire for snap elections as the only way out of the deep crisis our country is facing,” their statement suggests.
As they assess, the protest pointed out to the strength of the civic Montenegro and sent a “clear message to the outgoing government and prime minister that this is just the beginning of the fight for the preservation of Montenegro’s heritage and the creation of a modern society”.
