Former NATO supreme allied commander Wesley Clark says he plans to invest in Montenegro, adding that the country can become “European California”.
“There’s a lot of potential here. I spoke with the prime minister – this could be European California,” Clark told Montenegrin journalists at the Global Citizen Forum, which is being held at Sveti Stefan
This is not the first time he visits Montenegro. As he says, Montenegro fascinates him.
“Montenegro is a wonderful place, I’m fascinated,” Clark says.
He says that the Balkans have changed in these 25 years and showed that it is going forward.
“I talked to Milosevic long ago and he showed me what kind of space this was and what kind of potential it had. Unfortunately, during his term of office, it could not have been in the spotlight,” Clark says.
