The trial to Zoran R. Boljevic (62) was continued on Thursday was continued with hearing the witness Mladen M. Fatic. Boljevic has been charged with the murdering his uncle Slavko Boljevic and wounding his cousin Aleksa in Gornja Gorica neighbourhood in Podgorica last summer.

Fatic said that he had been hired to renovate a bathroom in the accused Boljevic’s house. He said that they had been sitting on the terrace and that the wife of the accused had gone to the fountain in the courtyard. Then four men, relatives of the accused, were insulting her.

“I did not see the beginning of the quarrel. I saw that Zoran Boljevic had taken a curtain rod and headed towards them to strike them. He missed them, lost his balance and fell. Then the three men attacked him and started hitting him… Then he entered the house to take the gun. I tried to hold him, but I failed because he was bigger than me. The four relatives were gone, but Zoran followed them. When Zoran caught an elder man up, he hit him. Then the elder man kicked Zoran back. Then he pulled the gun and shot him. Then the guy, I know his name is Leko, approached to help the elder man and the accused shot at him too. Then he returned to home, emptied the gun and sat down,” the witness said.

According to the indictment, on 22 August 2016 at about 5.30pm, Zoran R. Boljevic shot Slavko Boljevic in the stomach after a quarrel and then fired a shot to Aleksa Boljevic and wounded him.
