Rosa Knežević (27) from Nikšić, has been on dialysis for seven years. From the very first day of the dialysis treatment, she has been on the transplantation list but, unfortunately, the donor hasn’t appeared yet. The only way for her to be cured and start living without dialysis is the transplantation abroad which would require 60.000 EUR plus additional expenses.
“I managed to collect around 28.000 EUR thanks to good people and municipalities of Šavnik, Plužine and Žabljak. But that’s all. I still hope that people who understand my situation will help”, said Rosa.
To make the thinks worse, Rosa lives in very difficult conditions.
“Dialysis takes 4 hours. After that, I can’t even talk. My whole life is that dialysis treatment. I live thanks to that”, explains Rosa.
