Youth unemployment rate in Montenegro is 40.5 percent

Business Insider published economic and geopolitical causes that lead to high unemployment rates in 47 countries and warned of some of the major regional and global trends in this area. 

“Since the beginning of the global financial crisis, high youth unemployment has become a big problem in many countries around the world. Also, every country has specific causes of unemployment which are often intertwined”, it was said from Business Insider, and reported by MINA-business.

There were 47 countries on the list. from Libya with lowest unemployment rate of youth with 24.5 percent, until Greece with the highest rate of 64.8 percent.

In top ten of the countries with highest youth unemployment last year were also Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia. 

Top three countries when it comes to youth unemployment are Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece. 

In Spain this rate is around 58.2 percent, in Bosnia it’s 60.2 percent. Only Greece has higher unemployment rate, and it goes up to 64.8 percent.
