Zabljak: Sky-high bill for Spanish guests

The waiter charged guests from Spain many more servings than they ordered. A glass of syrup juice was charged two euros, while the honey and liquor, which they were only offered to try, eventually got charged 15 euros. Four servings of lamb were charged 88 euros, bread eight euros, and the alleged eight servings of cream cheese – an astonishing 40 euros, writes Dnevne Novine daily.

Tourists from Spain were very much surprised, but upon figuring out what had happened, they photographed the check of 238 euros and posted it online, which quickly became a big hit.

“The chech these tourists received is unreasonable; the prices are too high; no restaurant in Zabljak has these prices. It is obvious someone just wanted to take money from these tourists”, one of the restaurant owners from Zabljak said for DN.
