Zenka: Serbs had better enter the government

Zenka

Minister for human and minority rights, Mehmed Zenka, told Dan daily he wouldn’t mind Serbs enter the Government of Montenegro, as it would be much better for them to become part of the ruling coalition in Montenegro.

Zenka said: “Prime Minister Duško Marković invited the representatives of Serbs in Montenegro to enter the Government. I mean, why not?! Any person supporting the values we want to preserve is welcome, regardless of different views. I’ve been involved in the politics for a long and I’ve always had good relations with my colleagues. The position of Serbs in MNE would thus be much better.”

He also noted he’s never heard anyone from the govt. criticizing Serbs as a nation, as those were mostly critiques of certain individuals declaring themselves as Serbs. “If someone disagrees with a policy coming from Serbia or Serbian parties in Montenegro, that doesn’t mean the whole Serbian nation is being criticized for that but rather a certain politician or program.”
