State Secretary of the Internal Affairs Ministry, Zoran Miljanic, deceived the public when claiming that there were no armed people in Cetinje monastery on 5 September except for security guards and not a single person who might have had any connection with a foreign country, writes Pobjeda daily.
“I have no information that there had been armed people in Cetinje monastery,” he told while speaking in a morning TV show aired on the public broadcaster, RTCG.
However, Mr Miljanic didn’t tell whether the ministry, that is, the National Police, had searched the monastery in order to be able to say whether there were or were not armed people or persons of interest to security from Serbia or Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ministry rather stated that “they’re not competent to search the monastery”, even though Mr Miljanic himself gave such a statement as the state secretary of that same ministry.
