Responding to the question of MP for the Liberal Party (LP) Andrija Popovic, Gvozdenovic said that the Detailed Spatial Plan had been adopted by the Municipal Assembly for Przno 1 site, whereas the spatial plan for Przno 2 is being drafted.
“Preparatory works have also begun. Initially, it was announced that intensive works on hotel would start in October. Currently, further economic analyses are being done and according to the announcement that we have, the works will start in the next two months”, said Gvozdenovic.
He said that he required a meeting with the president of the Qatari Diar Board of Directors in order to get precise dates for the beginning of works related to the investment project.
“Qatari Diar is one of the world’s great companies and it invests in 29 countries worldwide. I’m sure it is important for the Montenegrin tourism and its overall development to have such an investor in this region”, said Gvozdenovic.
He added that the investor was willing to apply the best practices and refurbish the site according to the highest world standards.
“You can see on the company’s website what the hotel and tourism complex is like and it is a high-quality hotel complex without housing, just business. It is very precisely defined in the planning document”, said Gvozdenovic.
He has said that the government is doing everything to create a good environment in terms of accessibility and that business barriers have been significantly reduced related to the issuing building permits. Gvozdenovic added that they are doing everything to accelerate those projects.
