To claim that the land cannot be assigned to the Montenegrin Orthodox Church because there is a dispute in progress, is so illiterate and unprofessionally told untruth, the Liberal Party, LP, has stated.
They told Deputy Prime Minister, Dritan Abazović, that, as a PhD, he should at least know that a court dispute does not restrict land disposal, and he should also know that there is no burden or restrictions on the plot given to the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, neither today not over the past 70 years.
“The decision of the capital’s assembly is totally in line with the valid legal regulations, and yours is invalid, not to mention some more precise word for the untruth you said, which is, as everything said until now, just your imagination and wishes to ensure something that doesn’t belong to your favorite religious community and thus disable the other one to lead a common religious life, and deprive its worshippers of their right to religion guaranteed by the Constitution,” the Liberal Party noted.
Such an untruth, they told Mr Abazović, “your “expert” – the Minister of Justice wouldn’t even say, who is known for quoting articles that do not exist and giving infantile explanations why he made amendments to the Law on Religious Freedom at the premises of the Serbian Orthodox Church secretly and with absence of reason”.
“Mr Abazović can’t stop belittling the Government and he’s a deputy prime minister, and in just a single day he tells more than enough untruths for the govt’s entire four-year mandate,” they stated.
Members of the LP were shocked to hear about his [Abazović’s] allegations and had to listen to them for several times to believe it and then react.
