The opening of One&Only Portonovi, one of the most exclusive luxury resorts in Europe, will change the tourism offer and it represents a significant step forward in branding Boka and our Montenegro, Deputy Prime Minister and the leader of the Civic Movement URA, Mr Dritan Abazović, tweeted yesterday following the working visit to Herceg Novi.
And only five months ago, the Civic Movement URA considered the entire project “suspicious“, when it posted on Facebook the text of the CIN-Montenegro titled “Shadow over the Azerbaijani’s investment in Montenegro: Portonovi is owned by a daughter of Azerbaijani President”.
At that time, URA wrote: “Investigative journalism that will be far-reaching but won’t be approved by the families of the presidents of Azerbaijani and Montenegro”.
