In an interview with CdM, Beta journalist Velimir Perovic said he had received information from a source in Belgrade that a group linked to “Ćaciland” was being sent to Tivat, warning that their presence could have posed a security risk. He claimed the trip had been organised in great secrecy and described it as a “state secret”, from preparations in Belgrade to the planned reception in Montenegro.
Perovic alleged that the group included individuals connected to criminal networks and pro-government structures in Serbia, although he said he did not know the identities of those on the flight. He argued that the operation reflected the influence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and described him as a source of instability in both Serbia and the wider region.
He welcomed the fact that the incident ended peacefully, saying it was important that no serious security incident occurred, and expressed relief that the situation did not escalate into something similar to the Banjska attack.
