President of the Democrats’ Main Board in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica, and a member of the Democrats’ Main Board, Vladimir Čađenović, who was elected on Friday executive director of the Montenegrin Electric Transmission System, CEDIS, left the Socialist People’s Party, SNP, back in 2015 along with Aleksa Bečić, Zdenka Popović and around 50 other members of that party’s Main Board in the capital and set up in April the Democratic Montenegro, reports Pobjeda daily.
Before the SNP dissolved, there was a congress of that party, held on 23 November 2014, when Srđan Milić defeated his opponents – Aleksa Bečić and Aleksandar Damjanović. At that time, Mr Bečić, the future leader of Democrats, told that people outside the congress decided on results of the election.
After that, in February 2015 Mr Čađenović led a group of 50 members who left the Podgorica-based SNP.
He doesn’t possess experience in the energy field so his appointment on the most important position in that sector may be designated as a party-backed recruitment.
