Traffic safety is influenced by three factors: vehicles, roads and people. All these three factors mutually contribute to the increase of safety in road traffic, Igor Radojevic, mechanical engineer and forensic expert in the traffic profession, has told CdM, commenting on the accident at Obzovica in which two people lost their lives. He believes that it is necessary to form the Agency for Traffic Safety.
According to him, when it comes to our roads, the most common causes of traffic accidents are disobeying traffic signals, speed, vehicle improper operation, distraction by using a mobile phone, alcohol and other psychophysical conditions of the driver.
