With the aim of solving the crisis in the local parliament caused by a sudden, unilateral termination of the coalition agreement, the municipal boards of the Social Democrats (SD) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ulcinj have made the decision to accept the invitation on the formation of a new local government in that town. The local government would comprise the former coalition partners – FORCA, DP, SD and the SDP, along with five councillors of the DPS.
The SD and SDP expressed their regret that the local government formed after 2022 didn’t exist anymore, adding that their parties didn’t contribute to such an outcome, or in any way undermined any provision of the coalition agreement. On the contrary – they acted for the best interest of Ulcinj, and did everything they could to prevent the mentioned crisis.
The two pointed out that the summer tourism season in Ulcinj had already started, so that Ulcinj must get out of the crisis as soon as possible and establish government made up of the majority from the local parliament.
