Based on the Law on State and Other Holidays, Statehood Day is celebrated on 13 and 14 July. However, since 13 July falls on a Sunday this year, the non-working days will be Sunday, 13 July, Monday, 14 July, and Tuesday, 15 July, according to a statement from the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Dialogue.
“State authorities, local self-government bodies, public institutions, public enterprises, and other entities performing activities of public interest are required to ensure the continuation of work during the holidays in cases where interruption could cause harm to citizens or the state,” the statement says.
