A turning point happened when Osman Subasic decided to stay in the SDP, and won the support of half of the councillors of the party, although around 80% of delegates from Bar supported Ivan Brajovic at the party congress.
This is not the only shift in political developments in Bar. At the beginning of the division, 6 councillors supported Mr Brajovic’s fraction and 2 stayed in the party, and now the result is 4:4. Councillors supporting Mr Brajovic are Mico Orlandic, Simeon Dragas, Savo Pavlovic and Nedeljko Lale Covic. On the other hand, Damir Rasketic and Nada Marstijepovic have always been loyal to the party, whereas Osman Subasic and Denis Halimic supported Ranko Krivokapic after the congress.
Because of this situation, political market has been reopened in Bar – it is necessary to find two more councillors. All other parties are potential targets, the Albanian and the Positive Montenegro being most likely candidates for recruiting.
