Process of the afforestation of the spaces destroyed in fires across Montenegro has already started and the Government will invest 200.000 EUR in urgent recovery of those spaces.
„Activities on the afforestation started at the end of March. Currently, works in the area of Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Nikšić and Pljevlja are in progress“, reports the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Due to the fires which broke out during July and August in 2017, a great part of forests has been destroyed, especially in the southern and central part of the country.
