In relation to the event that took place in the premises of RTCG, as well as the published recording and transcript of the conversation between Mr Miodrag Živković, president of the 21. Maj Civic Initiative Council and Ms Tamara Nikčević, the author and host of the Teleskopija show, several members of the Coordination Board and the 21.May Civic Initiative Council have filed a criminal complaint against the responsible persons from Democratic Montenegro and other unidentified persons for the criminal offense of unauthorized wiretapping and recording under Article 173 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
The complaint expresses, among other things, concern over the fact that private conversations are being tapped and recorded in the premises of the national public broadcaster, which justifiably creates insecurity and fear among citizens, as potential victims of such and similar illegal recordings and wiretaps, if they are not ‘tailored’ to the Democrats.
