Elvir Harizaj was sentenced to 20 years and Hadzi Hasi to 18 years in prison for the murder of Ajsa Berisa on 19 May last year in Podgorica.
Harizaj’s wife Bajramsa Hoti helped him in the murder, as well as Sefzet Demiri. They were sentenced to one year and seven months in prison each.
Prosecutors charged them with murdering the elderly woman on 19 May between 11:30pm and midnight, in the Cemovsko Polje park, hitting her with a stone in her head.
After that, Hajrizaj took from Berisha €10 she had with her.
