The planned average monthly quantities of municipal waste that will be disposed at the Livade landfill this year are about 6,250 tonnes, ie about 75,000 tonnes at annual level.
This was announced by the Administration of the City of Podgorica.
According to it, the company will organize the activities from its scope of competence related to classifying municipal waste in accordance with the adopted concept of waste management strategy, which correlates with modern trends and EU directives in this field.
It aims to increase the amount of recyclable materials and reduce the amount of waste that would be deposited in a third sanitary unit.
In accordance with the Directive 99/31 EC and the Law on Waste Management, the company will continue with the quality disposal of municipal waste at the Livade landfill in the course of 2018, as well as other activities entrusted to this company.
