“UTIP” company from Podgorica, owned by the businessman Žarko Burić, will demolish hotel “City” in Podgorica and it will build business and residential complex at that same location. The total gross surface area of the complex is 30,9 square meters.
The acting main state architect, Dušan Vuksanović, gave the approval for the conceptual solution of this project which is going to be built at the urban parcel 1, under the Ljubović hill. This urban parcel consists of three cadastre parcels.
The designer of the project is a company from Podgorica “Arhitektonski atelje”. The investor, who owns the parcel and the hotel, didn’t want to keep the existing facility since he doesn’t find it cost-effective. He decided to remove the hotel and replace it with another facility with different purposes.
There are going to be two facilities which will practically be in the form of a closed block structure with central garden. They consist of underground floor, ground floor and six floors and it will have 315 parking lots.
This business-residential complex will have 240 apartments and 18 business premises.
Construction of a city hotel is predicted in one part of the facility and it will go perpendicularly up the entire height of the facility. All the functions are separate, due to the program content and requests of the investor.
