The document “Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of participation in the regional initiative Open Balkan”, prepared by the Ministry of European Affairs headed by Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Jovana Marovic, was removed from the agenda of the joint Commission on the Political System, Internal and Foreign Policy and the Commission on Economic Policy and the Financial System, at the request of the Minister of Justice Marko Kovac, with the explanation that the cabinet of the Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazovic needs to make a statement on this beforehand, Pobjeda reports.
According to information obtained by Pobjeda, DPM Marovic expressed some displeasure at the postponement of the discussion, but in the end she herself accepted that the final position of the Government of Montenegro should be formulated only after Prime Minister Abazovic and his close team give their opinions.
It is obvious that Marovic and her Ministry team were under strong political pressure to prevent the opinions from the analysis from being made available to the public.
