Slovakia has proven to be a reliable partner, and we believe it will be the same in the future. Montenegro is facing numerous challenges, so the support of European partners, including Slovakia, should not be lacking. We will resolutely dedicate ourselves to the necessary reforms in order to become the next member of the EU, said the president of URA, Mr Dritan Abazović, at yesterday’s meeting with the Ambassador of Slovakia, Mr Boris Gandel.
As URA reported, they discussed the current political situation in MNE.
“The election day passed in a fair and democratic atmosphere, and the election results revealed a new political reality in the country. I especially emphasize the importance of the fact that the leaders of the three winning coalitions agreed on the basic directions of the new government.” EU membership remains high on the agenda of the new government “, pointed out Mr Abazović.
Secretary General of URA, Mr Mileta Radovanić, said that intense diplomatic communication showed that Montenegro would not lack support from international partners.
