The Directorate for Quality Control of Health Care of the Ministry of Health has undertaken all activities in order to clarify the case in which the patient of the Niksic General Hospital received therapy that was not intended for him.
The patient is in good general condition.
It’s recalled that the patient who was admitted to the Internal Medicine Ward of Niksic General Hospital was given the blood of a wrong blood group by mistake three days ago. The patient experienced anaphylactic shock, after which he was urgently transferred to the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
