The owners of apartments belonging to the C structural unit, a residential building at the Zabjelo neighborhood in Podgorica, and Minister Janko Odovic did not reach an agreement at today’s meeting. The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property told journalists that the owners were offered legal assistance and support in order to collect the money they invested in the apartments from the investor – PS Gradnja.
They rejected such an offer, because, according to one of the apartment owners, Danilo Pejovic, they should wait four years for a more concrete solution, Vijesti reported.
Minister Odovic told the journalists that the owners of the named apartments were offered legal and other support, in order to compensate them from the person from whom they bought the apartments.
They refused such help, Odovic stressed adding that they demanded that the structural unit C remain as it is. He pointed out, among other things, that “the only legal situation is that the structural unit, in accordance with the decision and the laws, be demolished in a future period”.
