Fuel prices in Montenegro have increased across all fuel types. Eurosuper 98 is now priced at €1.56 per litre, Eurosuper 95 at €1.52, while diesel has increased to €1.57 per litre. Heating oil saw the biggest jump, reaching €1.72.
To ease the impact, the government temporarily reduced excise duties by 50% on diesel and 25% on gasoline, aiming to protect consumers and businesses from global oil market volatility.
The price adjustment period has also been shortened from 14 to 7 days, meaning fuel prices will now be updated weekly, with the next revision expected at the end of March.
