While Montenegro is in the midst of a political stalemate, it seems that politicians forgot about citizens, as the cost of living goes up every single day and citizens are being hit with sharpest price rises.
The state – the government – which is now being technical, didn’t deal with prices before either. While they’re struggling to save their armchairs (positions) and do everything they can to recruit as many of their people as possible, they remain silent over surging food prices. There’s no reaction of officials.
When you ask citizens in shops about the cost of living, they say: we can’t handle this anymore. Even the elderly started to say – This is a disaster!
Cost of meat, vegetables, fruit, old, flavour, chocolate, coffee… the cost of everything has jumped. And there’s no hope in finding lower prices.
