Application center for British visas reopens tomorrow

The Application Center for the issuance of British visas in Podgorica was closed on May 18, after a tax inspection established that it operated illegally for over a year. The issuance of British visas to Montenegrin citizens was from March 2014 duty of the French company “Teleperformans”, which the tax inspectors found, hasn’t been paying taxes, and was also not registered in the Central Register of Companies, writes Dan daily.

As one of the negative examples in operations of the Application Center, British ‘Independent’ published a case involving the daughter of Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, Nina Vujanovic, whose passport was last year mistakenly sent to another applicant. In this way, a large number of personal data about the President’s daughter was revealed, and via a proxy for external affairs of another country, which is scandalous.

UK Visa Center in Podgorica was sanctioned by temporary closure and suspension of operations until identified irregularities are eliminated. The proceedings will be initiated against responsible persons, representatives of the Tax Administration earlier said for the Independent.
