This April, the Tax Administration (PU) collected EUR 85,309,868, which is 12 million euros above the plan for this month, that is, the results from April 2017.
Special growth in collecting was recorded in corporate income tax and value added tax.
The total income tax collection amounted to EUR 9,180,174, which is EUR 6 million over the plan.
“VAT collection amounted to 17,008,793 euros, which is four million above the plan, and five million euros above the achievements from the comparative period of 2017”, the PU announced.
They also want you to know that, due to the continuous successful execution of collection tasks, gross collection during the first four months of this year amounted to 318,836,390 euros, which is a “whopping” 39 million euros above the realization from the same period in 2017, or 27 million euros above the collection plan for this period.
